Profile: Rodney [pic heavy]

This is Rodney, my Crestie. His full name is Rodney McKay (see if anyone catches the geeky sci-fi reference there...lol)

He is so awesome. He can be quite hyper at times (and poopy...) but I still love the little sticky-footed little guy! He will put up with ANYTHING (partly because I make it a point to pet him on his head, touch his toes, tail, etc...he will let you do anything with him now, lol!)
He is strictly on CGD.
I think he's a flame harlequin. (any input on that?)

Geez those are incredible! I LOVE geckos! So darn cute. Love the pics. What kind of a camera & lens are you using??

Thanx! It's a Canon SX20IS. No lens, it's not an SLR (although you'd never guess from the photos it takes!) I have it on ISO 80 almost all the time, and I used F2.8 aperture for the photo shoot pics. I just fool around with the shutter speed and flash brightness. I also have a DIY macro flash ring for it, lol!

Not sure how much it costs - it was a gift, lol! (you can get them FACTORY refurbished - and they are just like new only about half the price of a new one. I get most of my electronics factory refurbished)

I googled before I asked of course but the first page didn't have a single result showing the price... I have to see though cause thats some goooood pictures and NOT and slr which I don't want... So it's kind of perfect.

Well, all I know is that this one was refurbished and came from Henrys.com (the Canadian version of the website/company) check Henry's, e-bay, your local camera stores, etc.

I am soooo jealous right now of your skill! Absolutely AMAZING photographs! Your crestie is very gorgeous. I don't know much about photography, but I would say that your photographs are much better than most of the ones I see in frames for exorbitant amounts of money. I don't even own a crested gecko yet I could really see one of those pictures blown up, framed and on my wall! I would love to see you taking photographs of herps for some of the field guides, they would be so much better for identification purposes!
