had to move my BRB to a small 10 gallon tank for a couple days till i can get a 20 gal long for her, her tub kept getting little gnat things after she would poop or pee, no matter how much i cleaned it after words, not other snakes i have get these, i assume it has to do with the humidity... oh well, all fixed now!

I've seen those before in other setups. I don't *think* they bother the snake, but they may spread germs, so better safe than sorry.
FYI, tossing all substrate and moss and soaking the tub and furnishings in bleach will get rid of anything. Just make sure to rinse thoroughly (and more than once!) afterward, then let air dry.
The temp setup looks good!

I avoid using bleach whenever possible, but Cliff is correct that if used, it should be rinsed multiple times very thoroughly. If you can still smell it, your snake definitely can. I generally clean with soapy water and rinse thoroughly. I've heard of people cleaning cages with a Chlorhexidine solution, but have never tried it personally.
It looks like your temporary cage should be fine until you get rid of the gnats. Good luck.

Is that tape? Tape bad.:p
Seriously. Snakes always find a way to get stuck in tape, no matter how safe you think it is.
If it's even tape.

My worry with bugs is that simple soap and water might not get them all, especially eggs. You are correct though that for regular use, bleach is probably overkill. Chlorhexidine solution works for regular use as well.
Redsided, good eye on the tape, I totally missed that and thought they were straps.

Tape is not the best, tank clips are cheap and work fine. I use 90% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol to clean and disinfect my tanks. It works great and evaporates 100% leaving no residue. I have issues with the fruit flies as well in tubs, but the alcohol gets rid of them every time.

there is no tape, there is just a few little peices holding down the aluminum foil... i have 4 clips on the lid, no tap lol, there are velcro stripes over it too (use to be my corns tanks)
i will NOT be putting her back in her tub, she will be going into a 20gal long, as soon as i build the new 4x2x2 for my beardie, then eventually, a 4x2x2 for her.....
thanks for the compliments guys, she should be in this no longer that 1-2 weeks.
