I have great success in getting my monitor to eat. I have yet to see him do it, but everytime I put crickets in his cage they magically dissappear. I am looking for some new foods to give him. I met a woman who owns a huge sav. and she says that feeding them boiled eggs is a good source of protien for them. Any comments??

Eggs bad!!! bugs good.

Try some raw shrimp, earthworms are great too.

Savannah monitors are insectivores, No rodents, no eggs, no birds.
