Replacements Are On The Way!!!

So as some of you may remember I had 3 Sumatran bloods shipped to me which were all sick with RI. After speaking with them and a big debate on if it were our fault the snakes were sick... Um they were flown from way down in florida to WA with no heat pack and arived stone cold and blowing bubbles. :no:
Anyways the replacements are on thier way now :-) Im so excited! I had them snap a pic of each one before they sent them, they are gorgeous!
Name suggestions are welcome :-) unfortunately my Hubby says we are selling 1 so somehow I have to figure out which of the 2 females I get to keep. Thats gonna be a tough one to decide! Although Im steering twards the top one we shall see when they get here.... Please please please arrive healthy!!!

You never know with bloods! They can each colour up differently still! I'd keep the best eater/most docile.

kinda pisses me off that they suck at shipping so bad. shame on them for shipping those poor snakes with no heat and making them sick.

I agree TeaNinja it was heart breaking I was so excited to get them Ive wanted them for so long then to see them sick it killed me. Then having to argue with them about it I mean I will never claim I know everything about snakes but I think anyone with at least 2 brain cells can figure bubbles coming out of a snakes nose and mouth is not a good thing.... Granted the owner when we finally got him on the phone and he found out there wasnt a heat pack used he was great. I just dont see how just because its summer they wouldnt think they would need one. Sure they are insulated with the styrofoam around the box but once the heat is gone from the box they have no way of getting warm...

Have I mentioned I'm nervous? Just looked at the tracking and noticed they are a pound lighter than last time they shipped us snakes. as a matter of fact they are 1lb 5oz. god I hope there's a heat pack in there!

Just contacted them no heat pack again and they are bein sent to the managers office here not the FedEx where they are supposed to be.

So true with blood you never know about the color till they're about two years of age.

As far as the heat pack go this time of year a lot are shipped with cold packs if it really hot. To keep them from over heating. It depends on the weather where they are being shipped from, the route, and the temps where you leave.
Last summer had to wait 2 weeks on a order because the Temps in Memphis were in the upper 90's. The breeder knew all his shipments when threw the Memphis FED X, so he wait till the temps dropped down in the 80's to be safe.

Well maybe I was just a bit paranoid after the last time but they all seem healthy :-) and very sweet I only got bit 4 times yesterday and not once today...I know I should let them settle in but I also needed to check on them to make sure I didnt need to call the place we got them from...
