A sunglow carries the "hypomelanistic" gene as well as the albino gene. Another way to describe it is a "salmon albino." Due to the presence of the hypo/salmon gene, a sunglow will be a deeper, brighter orange, sometimes a reddish-orange, while a straight albino will often be a creamy yellow or very pale whitish-orange on the background cream to white color. A nice, quality sunglow will have a definite "glow" about its orange, hence the name.
Hope that helps!
