My Rosy Boa's been getting pretty antsy lately..
Is it possible for a snake to get sick of eating mice? or maybe just frozen mice?

Lately he's been moving around his tank anxiously, climbing on the walls and such. Does that mean he's possibly ready for a bigger tank?

Any information would be much appreciated!

Nope, not as thick

The temperatures are 90 during the day and 85 at night. That's what I was told to keep it at

So, bigger mice, huh?

Is it possible that he may be sick of frozen mice? Like, maybe he wants the satisfaction of the kill and the nice fresh taste?

that is correct. i personally don't like to go much larger than the width of the snake. sometimes snakes get restless if the temps are too high, but your temps seem ok. i'm guessing you do have a gradient set up?

So, with domestication, comes pansy instincts, huh? XD

I've heard live mice are dangerous, because they could injure the snake.
So, I guess I'll just have to upgrade his serving size a bit. Is there anything else a snake might eat, perhaps?

Is a heating pad an absolute must? I would imagine it's a very important part of the setup

Live mice can be very dangerous. I'd stay with mice with a rosy.

I believe belly heat benefits almost every herp. I use nothing else, for a heat source. Especially a desert species.

Do you have it in a fish tank? If so, you might want to paint the rear and sides of the tank. The insecurity can cause restlessness.

Yup, a fish tank. So I'll have to hop to that. I think that'll make him feel much better.

Thanks loads for all the information! Every little bit helps out
