Whilst the westerners are willing to pay to watch snake charmers etc whilst on holiday then the natives will contimue to do whatever they need to do to earn enough to put food on the table.

Thankfully most of us live in a world where doing things like this to animals isnt necessary to feed our families but without living in those conditions we really shouldnt judge them by their actions. Who knows what i would do if my wife and daughter were starving.............

Gaboon viper. If it bites you, you are screwed. You can inject yourself with antivenom right away and it's not going to help your odds tremendously.

Assumptions are the basis of human understanding, you assume something and prove it out.
Then again some people assume things and test it out in idiotic ways, or just assume that their assumptions are true and get awarded darwin awards for their lack of effort.

these folk don't have the luxory of good paying jobs,a guarenteed roof over their heads or 3 meals a day

so they do what needs must to provide for their familys (ain't no welfare there)

i do NOT agree with the horrific procedures they do to the snakes but i understand why they do it

i'm sure theres not 1 forum member on here that would not do the same,if it made the difference between their child eating or starving

for as cruel as it is its better than a child going hungry

imo i bet we throw more leftover food out after a meal,than some kids in these countrys eat in a day
