He's looking great, TeaNinja! I love his colors! Hopefully he will now eat and finish his shed on his own!

Great job on the moist hide, they really help them during those sheds. He looks wonderful, nice big tail and beautiful colors. Love the pictures especially the one where he is checking out that cricket, looks like he is definitely on the hunt. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

Great pics, as with snakes keep an eye on tip of tail sheds that they come off, also on the toes, have seen many lizards with missing toes for various reason but stuck shed is one of them.

they always sleep during the day. i thought it was funny, he got his share of crickets, then went to sleep basking under the lamp in the rock thing and the crickets were right above him loving the light also.

As Rob said, keep an eye one the tail and toe tips. If he doesn't get it off, himself, soon, I'd suggest trying to help him get them off. If they're left that way, he'll continue to grow, and that layer of unshed skin will still be there and begin to cut off circulation. In time, whatever tip wasn't shed, will eventually fall off due to loss of blood flow.

I agree, applying a little bit of mineral oil after a bath will help soften any stuck shed left on the toes.
Also I wouldn't leave any uneaten crickets in the enclosure they may get hungry and bite your gorgeous little guy.

BTW in the top pictures where he is standing on the rock hide, did you make that, it's really cool!

The exact same one came with my beardie when I bought him from my mother's friend, cage and all. :> We only payed $70 for him, his tank, and all his tank things.
