i saw a bp this weekend with moss for a bedding and the person said they like to mist lightly once a day and it stays humid because of the moss.
what do you guys think about that? it says on the box that its substrate, i just dont know.

All I do know, let it get dry for a minute, and the dust levels are nasty.

interesting. i wouldn't use it just because i wouldn't want to give myself such a small margin of error keeping it damp constantly, and reptibark/ecoearth is good B)
/ i suppose if you have a auto mysting system rigged so you know the timing will keep it damp then it would be seemingly awesome, but i certainly don't ;)

I use it in hides to create a humid hide for the snakes but wouldnt use it for the whole viv - any that gets pushed out of the hide by the snake dries out and goes kinda brittle in about an hour. He must either have the viv too cold or a constant water supply to use it as the sole substrate.
