they will make some real nice looking snakes :) i have been reading alot on breeding since im planning to try my hand at it this year, but normally you lower the temps in nov and drop them slowly till near the end of dec, then in early jan you put the female into the males cage normally and their you have it, make sure your female is nice and plump and as well as make sure you male is not to skinny but not to fat either, you want him in prime shape :) i just read a post here the other day saying to do like 2 degrees a week until you go from 85 to 60 then the same untill you get back to 85 then introduce, cant remeber who posted it atm, its real early and im off to work :) GL

keeping and breeding australian pythons.edited by mike swan

if you buy that book then any questions you may have will be answered

its a great book and imo a must for all carpet keepers

nice jag you got there

the more i look at your other carpet the more i think he's a diamond jungle jaguar sibling

or a high diamond influence diamond jungle

either way those 2 imo will make some nice looking hatchlings

cheers shaun

It's on BRB and it's down to 68 degrees. I am sure most likely about the same for carpets. http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/general-boa-forum/84706-brbs.html#post578494

who's vivarium did you use for the introduction ?

your better to use the females as she feels more secure in there

the male only has one thing on his mind so when you put him in he will get on with it

if you put the female into the males tank she will want to explore it etc before she settles

cheers shaun

Beautiful snakes! I hope they produce for you! When you get babies I hope you offer them up here first! (Hint)
