Angry but full scrubby

Just thought i would share this pic of a nice fat scrubby with you guys. This guy has just eaten a medium sized rabbit and he is only 14 months old. I figure a lot of people ask what size food should i feed my snake, this helps show the sheer size of prey items they can take. Its hard to tell but his gut now would be 3-4 times fatter than any other part of his body, he got this down in 15 mins as well. I find this easier than giving 4-5 smaller items, also this guy is 7' so he is not an absolute monster.
The pics are not too great but will give you an idea ( was hard to get a good photo while he is trying to take your face off ).

a clutch of dwarf scrubs just hatched a few weeks ago

it was a uk first

the guy keeps all sorts of scrubs

im thinking the bar neck scrubs are my favorite right now

the head scales and shape of the head on these guys are pretty amazing

Cheers mate, Im picking up another male in a few weeks lol im well and truely addicted to these guy's. When it gets sunny agian ( we have storms at the moment ) i will take some of them out side for a photo shoot to put up for you.
I will tell you though if you get one you will fall in love and want to convert your entire house to hold 20 of them lol. I too love bar necks and they would be a good scrub as they dont average massive sizes, dont get me wrong it still wont be great to be smashed by one but they are managed a lot easier than these guy's when adults.

Im still waiting on the release of these albino's as i would love to see if they would keep the bright purple sheen, i can only imagine how sweet a white snake glowing purple would be!!

That would be Morelia Kinghorni mate, the guy you see in that photo. There has been a length measured at 8.5m but its very old and unlikely in my eye's. They average between 4-5.5m whcih is still a decent sized snake.

im figuring these will be the fastest most nimble of all the big snakes though mate ?

a 12 to 15ft scrub now thats a nice thought

They are lightning quick even when old adults. Thats why i thought they would of been more popular than other big guy's as they are still very active and love climbing. There as pics of very healthy captive that was 5.7m and the girth of a rugby ball nearly, that is my hopes for the young girl who is growing like a weed here at the moment.

I think all shows go a bit silly with their stats and scare tactics. Yeah he is a bit of a clown lol, as you know most of the snakes they use in thes types of shows are captive any way. That one was far to calm to be wild, as my young girls puts on a show and acts like she is 30' long and 3' round. I would pay to see a 6.5m one lets put it that way.
They are a great snake to keep as long as they grow out of musking when picked up or startled.

Cheers guys. Nah Greg he is still eating every 10-14 days. I keep this routine for all young scrubbies as they have a incredible metabolism compared to most pythons.
