Shedding question

how long until my carpet will shed after his eyes go blue

7-10 days usually.

As long as your temps are right there is no need to mist at all. Just have a bowl big enough for soaking though.

I would make your hot end a bit hotter 92, your cool end is good.

i try i cant get it i switch up the bulb and it gets too hot any suggestions???

Rheostat or thermostat.

You could put something like a large rock or piece of wood under the light so it can perch and get that temp.

Should really have a thermostat on the heater, less worry regarding temps then.

a 100 or 150 watt ceramic will get you proper temps mate

basking spot 94f

ambient temperature 84f to 86 f

cool end 76f to 78f

you should not have to mist your jungle

they have no specific humidity needs

my humidity sits between 50% and 70%

all they have is a water bowl thats big enough for them to get into if they require it

my water bowl is in the cool end of the tank

your carpets eyes will clear up and he will look normal again

he will shed 5 to 10 days after this.
