thanks for your kind comments folks.

re size rob,i'd say shes around 3ft.when i layed her shed on my bed it was the same legnth as the width of my double bed.i know sheds are a little larger than the snake actually is so id say 3ft give or take.diamonds are quite muscular and slender compaired to all my other carpets.its almost like her bodys a tear drop shape.that was the first thing i noticed the day she arrived how muscular and more athletic she was than my podgy carpets (who have definatley not been power fed in any way).she doesnt get fed for 4 months of the year and they're slow growing lean snakes.i really cant wait until shes up to breeding size.by then i will have hopefully found her a male.
cheers shaun

Gorgeous Diamond. To my disappointment, I've never seen one away from the keyboard. Your pics satisfy the craving, though. Does she refuse to feed during cooler months or do you have her on a no feed schedule for a set time?

The yellow looks like it is really going to come out in the 6 months or so. I would love to see some more pics once she gets to a yearling please shaun, im a sucker for high yellow diamonds. Great looking snake by the way.

i take her off feeds.in the winter her night time temps are 55f.daytime she gets a 2 hour basking light at 95f and 2 hours 2.0 uvb.

even in summer she only gets a 4 hour bask time but a 10 hour uvb.i vary it according to the seasons.amazing snakes to work with and very economical from a heating cost point of view.

percey mate, shes 20 months old.i will try and get a loan of a good camera.you wont be let down if i can capture her true colours.her yellows really popped after that last shed.her head used to be like little smudged marble looking spots.they are now bright clean olivey greeny yellow.hard to describe but you'll know what i mean.do my best to get some pic's that truely represent her colours.when shes basking under the uvb she really, really shows why diamonds are so beautifull.
cheers shaun
