Weird snake names?

I thought it be fun to here some of the weird names people come up with for their snakes. I have ones named after everything from wrestlers to hitmen from marvel comics. So lets here them. I had a orange head retic named punkinhead, RTB name headbutt jones, He was always striking (with mouth close) and slam his head against the side of the cage. My first blood would always pissing and hissing on you when you pick him up so he was called PMS. (LOL) And let's here why they got the name?

I had a kingsnake named Elvis (get it? lol). I also have a male GTP named Archimedes, a coastal carpet named Voodoo and a SD retic named Baby. I named my Stimson's python pair Homer and Marge. I have many more but the names aren't too weird.

Infernalis cherry bear is cool. Willow Elvis (LOL) that is a cool name for the King snake. I also like Homer and Marge.

I wouldn't say any of my reptile names are too weird, really.. I have a pair of cresteds name Molson and Corona, two crestie girls names Hookah and Roach, and most of the other ones have funny people names..Murph (green iguana), Melvin (chameleon), Linus (lined leaf tail gecko), Lector (savannah monitor, hannibal lector, haha), Kratos (dragon), and Sushi (leachianus). Those are some of my favourites..there are many more :P

Had a baby yellow anaconda name mellow yellow and BRB named orange crush. They both got stolen when i was out of town one weekend along with a jungle name Tarzan. Till these day i think it was the guy i bought the anaconda off of.

idk if you'd call them "odd" per-say but i named my red eared terrapin shelldon (haha), i named my BP Kali Chakra after the Hindu Goddesss, and finally i named my Dumeril's Boa Akoma, which is a Malagasy word for a large constrictor and also mean patience and tolerance (two traits i hope are passed on to her hahaha). oh and i use to have a bearded dragon named jub jub and a garter snake named Naga.

Masubius is a word I made up, combining Masubi (an active volcano on Jupiter's moon, and a Japanese god of fire) and Vesuvius.

Masubius is the brightest red flame I have ever seen and proudly part of my collection.

phoebe = she was a rescue i got for free, so a freebie,hence phoebe.
mr & mrs bredl = they were bought as a breeding pair
tarzan & jane = 2 of my jungles
star = female jungle with a star head marking
the new jungle = shes my most recent jungle

the rest were given their names as i thought for some reason unbeknown to me that they looked like them.

rose my 75% jungle/jaguar,she looked like a rose (not literally,haha)

I don't like to name them too early, once I feel they are "in the home stretch" then I name them.

Too many times we named babies, then they fail to thrive, makes losing them more difficult.

it's hard to describe.

We just got our ball yesterday and named her Bellatrix Lestrange (Bellatrix was a member of the Slytherin house when @ Hogwarts and the Slytherin symbol was a snake - Salazar Slytherin was said to be a Parseltounge (he could talk to snakes). Yes, we are HUGE Harry Potter nerds, lol.

you guys have seen my retic i names bella, i named my coastal carpet python Lady becuase i never knew when she was going to get pissed off at me and bite, my monitor i named oscar the grouch becuase its is all bark no bite.i had a green iguana back in the day i named puppy becuase i thought it was funny people calling a big old lizard to them saying come here puppy LOL good times... no one like that name everyone gave me flac for years telling me to rename it but i loved the name and the iguana.

So i went with it! and named my guy Mitch, after Margret Mitchell, the author of the book.

LoL Kind of, But Tweak and Butters are my favorite Characters. And the personality type totally match. Tweak is high strung and jumpy, and Butters I can hand feed like a little puppy. I like Timmy also, but have not found a handicapped snake yet.:rolleyes:

I always have a really hard time naming animals, usually takes me weeks! So when I got my ball python, I was thinking how the heck am I going to decide on a name for a snake!? So as I was setting up the snake's tank, I randomly said to my dog "what should I name your new brother?" My dog immediately sneezed in my face. Soo I just named the snake Sneezy. I've been told its pretty weird/stupid, but whatever :)
