like the title says, can i put a real plant in my ball pythons cage? is there any benifits to this, or will it just strickly be for look? thanks...

reason i ask is bc i hear it helps for humidity..

Yes it would definatley help maintain humidity in your tank. What plants are you thinking about using? A good one is Pothos.

you can and it helps some I'm sure. Pothos Ivy is a good choice they stay alive...

I got mine at a random plant/flower store downtown. You can also get it at Walmart and Home dEpot type stores with plant sections but they often are label 'assorted tropicals' or 'assorted ivy' so it's good to know what you are looking for. You definaltey don't want toxic plants in your tank. If you do a search on the forum for safe plants you will find a couple posts with links to safe plant lists.
