Moving Savannah

A friend of mine (without a computer) is moving from Ontario to BC. We were discussing ways of shipping his year old Savannah.

We were wondering if he put it in a large dog carrier in his car will it be OK for the ride. He will be spending a few nights along the way in Hotels and will bring a heat lamp for the hotel.

Any other suggetions would be very appreciated.
