Nice head shot the white lipped is beautiful and Atlas looks a little like a carpet python in that pic - nice I recently joined to welcome snake lova:)

Absolutely, I was really lucky with this boy. He'll puff and hiss a bit when he's first brought out of his enclosure but doesn't strike ever and is as tame as can be once he's out.

Other than being a bit vocal...he's as easily handled as my other two.

Yeah, even when they're friendly...they still seem to retain a bit of that 'any moment' kind of feeling. If you search 'very tame white lipped python' on youtube I have a video of him up.

I'm in Ottawa and drove up to TO to get him off a kijiji add. I'm quite surprised I was able to get him and the price was excellent.

that's amazing about getting him off of kijiji. I've heard some horror stories from various people about getting animals that were essentialy dying when bought from kijiji.

thats their own stupid fault for buying sick animals if you dont know what you are looking for you should not just go out and do impulse buys from people who will just lie to you to sell somethin they dont want anymore... i know a guy in toronto who was sellin a white lipped for 350..... but it had mites ! hope you'res is not that one.

This is probably the same one I bought except the actual price for the snake was $250. His asking price was $350 with aquarium and such. I did an on site mite check as well as a vet trip once home and he was clean of mites and in perfect health.

what he needed was a bigger enclosure and a better means to regulate his humidity and temperature. Right now he's in shed and doing great.

lol yah well either way at least you're taking care of it now...thats cheap for 250 i would have bought it..
