hi all last sun my corn just had 1 pinky (thought yep sheddin time). her eyes went dull n today just went back 2 black. she was doin her norm when she wants fed so i got out her feedin box put it up 2 the cage she went strate in she took 2 pinkys then she slithered back from the feedin tank 2 her home n back 2 her cave the Q is was it rite n ok for me 2 feed her buring this time of the shedding prosess i hope ive not done anythin 2 hurt her but im a sucker when i c her lookin for food and not 2 feed her when she came lookin for me 2feed her i just couldnt plz let me know i did the rite thing many thank

I dont think you did anything to hurt the snake, some snakes eat while they are in shed, and some do not.. I have had some of mine get the white eyes then they turn back too. Not sure why they do but he will probably shed in the next few days. Just mist him and make sure the humidity is high enough.

ty ty she is i mist every day cheers 4 easein my mind as for the white eye i know wot it is well a gess it the snakes eye scales loosen first b4 shed dont quote me on it tho

My snakes are always hungry. Shedding or not, I'll feed them if they're willing to eat and I've never had a problem. The research I've done says OH YOU SHOULDN'T and lots others say otherwise.

I somewhat promote feeding during shedding as I feel it stretches their skin a bit, and hence the loose skin, and may help them out some.

It hasn't been detrimental to mine, but mine will eat the crap out of the garbage disposal if it smells right.

pmsl catch up im used 2 txt its quicker lol as for grammar wots that in this day n age hehe soz im a miss spellaholic

my 2 corn snakes eat even though there shedding and it hasnt caused a problem

Eating while in shed is perfectly fine as long as the prey isn't mobile. It can bite and harm the snake trying defend itself.
I love it when my snakes eat while in shed.

Yea all my snakes eat in shed, except my Ball python and my Burmese...Go figure with the burm, But the rest dont mind at all.

she as shedded twice be4 since i got her but this time was a first she norm hides till the big day

my 2 corn snakes are always alot more active if there shedding if there not in shed i hardly ever see them exept when i have them out.
