You should always try to avoid bites if possible.

I wouldn't "let" her bite you. But you have to realize that when dealing with reptiles, getting bit is just part of the job. But try to avoid it if at all possible. I don't know anyone who have ever handled snakes for any length of time, that has NEVER been bit. Heck, I just had a finger fractured from an Iguana that I rescued recently. But things happen. lol
Personally, I've been bit by hamsters and snakes. If given a choice, I prefer the snake. lol

I totally agree, My mother was kind enough to get my two younger children hamsters for Easter:eek:, without telling me, she just brought them over, I was not happy, lol. Long story short, they cannot handle any of them, they are evil little creatures! One has cost me over 300.00 in vet bills because she started losing all her hair! I cant feed them to the snakes, well for one because one is sick, and two it is a moral thing I try to install into my kids, know matter what you keep as a pet you treat it like you would yourself including all medical care should the need arise. So here I am stuck with these evil little hamsters, with one costing me a fortune, lol.
