I am planning on getting a corn snake this year. It will be my first snake ever.
I have a 20 gallon tank longer in length not to tall about a foot tall. An under the tank heater for half of the tank, two hides, a fairly large watering dish, I am getting a friend of mine to bring me a peice of drift wood from Nove Scotia when she gets back! :p and I have all the info on the mice and where to buy from. I am pretty sure I have done good at the researching, I know almoust everything I need to know... BUT I was woundering which subtrate I should use, and if their are any pointers I could get! :D

Also I am still looking for breeders from Alberta, I myself live in Grande Praire. I have found a breader from Quebec who is expecting a ghost of different colours. I am interesting in getting a ghost that has different colours on them instaed of the peachy colours.

Thnx Brandon

There are quite a lot of good beddings for corn snake, such as aspen and reptile chips form the pet store. However most of people will avoid to use pine and cedar because of toxic substance inside the shaving.

Corn is the best looking snake in the world and hope you enjoy them.
