Hey poeple !

I'm hoping to get a little advice here.
I've been keeping snakes for a while now but never got into breeding, now i've been thrown into it.
I Bought a pair of Amazons and they are really going at it (several hrs)
The female is really squishing the hell out of the male and only giving him a few hrs to recuperate.

I don't really want cages everywhere so should i separate them ? do i have to ?
i don't wan't this snake to get trashed but the idea of babies is pretty cool.

a little advice please !

i've looking for some reading material but most of it is pretty vague or generalized (snakes)

thanks

Hey congrats on them locking up. My advice would be to go ahead and let them do there thing. Theres a good demand for CB ATBs, so I'm sure you wouldnt have a problem with selling them. Now as for tanks just get a few high rubber maids and put a branches and that should do for the babies. So what colour are your Atbs, lol I might even take one dowen the road. Anyways good luck and hopefully you can get afew babies from them :) Tony

The Female is a nice dark red and the male is a bluish grey.

housing the babies is not a concern its the welfare of the snake. The poor guy is really getting squeezed.Allready has a reddish bruise looking band on the body.

normal???
i want the babies so do i leave them together or separate them after a while?
figured i'd give him a break and separated them tonight, they'll go back together tomorow.

If they are quite aggressive towards each other, it is possibly both are males...
