This was our favorite neonate from our 11/4/02 litter. Everything else, save one other, was completely patternless like their mother- makes me wonder if patternlessness in ATBs is actually hypomelanism, and possibly a co-dominant trait as it is in other boas. It wouldn't be shocking if it were the case, apart from the fact that ATBs have always enjoyed a reputation for throwing off an incredible variety of offspring- largely determined by chance. Has anyone else, besides Danny Mendez and his Tiger ATBs, wondered about (or secretly proven) a genetic link between amazons and the phenotypes of their young?
All wild hypothesis welcome!

IMO there are many different genetic phenotypes between Amazons and their young, unfortunatly many people misrepresent their animals as "gecetic" before proven otherwise. There other mutations out there that have been proven but have yet to hit the main stream. :)

Great looking animals btw...
