Well... here they are. The male never seems to turn out well in the pics....always fuzzy :( They are both doing well, female wasnt feeling very good last week, but appears to be much better now :D They have both eaten two consecutive meals for me. They were both less than impressed with my hovering over them with a camera... so here's the best I can do...lol!

The pic of the female is the closest to accuracy colour-wise... they are sort of rusty coloured with bright orange bellies :P They should be starting to undergo the colour change at about 1 year old. They start looking really nice! Almost a calico type appearance. Darren Hamill has a pic on his site of one too. I don't have enough room on ks to upload anything from my picture archives :(

they do have a beautiful colour!:) How much time do they spend hanging out on the rails? and do they perch like chondros?

yve: they seem to spend more time off the ground than on it i find. during the day if it is quiet you can sometimes see them out of their hides on the perches, and guranteed if you look at them any time night/evening they will be up on their perches. they do not perch like chondros though (wouldnt that be cute!), they just sort of string themselves all over them...lol! at best the will wrap the the back 1/3 around a perch and lay the rest of their body along it.

My 2.2 are almost three years old now. I've had them since shortly after birth. They change more than you would think for such brightly colored neonates. I'll have to get some new pic's up son.
