hi im going to need some help friom u since u breed monitors i know i wont make money from them but it be fun. if i get them to breed and hatch i will get more savannahs and just breed savannahs. i might come to australia one day one a trip

If you have any questions about breeding, ask away. I've never bred savannah monitors, but may be of some help regardless, as some things seem to be the same across different monitor species.

how big would a dirt box have to be and what a good soil to use

the dirt box should be the entire floor of your enclosure, filled to at least a foot in depth. The best dirt would be to go into your back yard, or a nearby woods (where no pesticides have been used) and dig up some dirt that holds burrows without having to be completely wet. Don't worry about bugs.

okay but i cant put dirt in their whole in closer im using a old kitch cuberts sorry about the spelling

You may need to line it with something or build a new enclosure. You can try a nesting box, but make sure it's pretty big. Have you bought that book by Daniel Bennett and Ravi yet?
