A friend of mine got a 2 year old corn snake a few weeks ago. He is having a problem. He washes his hands and takes all the precautions when handling his cornsnake, but she always seems to want to bite him! She is very aggressive when he tries to remove her from the tank. When she is being held she is fine however. He has been getting frustrated with her and even though he is very patient, this has been bugging him. She is just so aggressive! Any ideas?

the problem is that some snakes like people are timid and dont want to be handeled. your new corn is very small and in time learn that biteing is not permitted. the reason she dosent bite after you are holding her is because she knows that you mean her no harm.
it,s just picking her up ,so try to pick her up more so she gets used to you

It's not that small if it's two years old. But he's right that with consistent gentle handling most corns will settle down. If the biting is really problematic, try using gloves.
