I've had my Albino Cali king for about a year and a half now and never had any shedding problems before.

But just recently i put him in a new enclosure and he started going through shedding this week.
He shed this morning and it didn't turn out aswell as it usually does, the skin around the eyes wouldn't come off and it usually comes off in one perfect piece

His scales have also gone really dry and has red spots around his spinal area like a rash, does anyone know what this could be?
(will try taking a picture and post it if anyone needs it)

a pic would be really good, hard to tell without seeing.
also try to check all the stats, temp, humidity, lighting, etc'.

if all the skin is flaky try saoking the snake in luke worm water, moiten the area, it usualy welps. cant say more withough seeing a pic.

failed at taking a pic :( cam sucks
But the rash has cleared up a little since i moistened it, thanks for that tip

he still has a layer of skin covering one eyeball and I'm cautious about taking it off incase i damage his eye, is it safe to touch or should i leave him be to remove it himself ?

you should take a que tip with a little water on it and gently rub it over his eye the cap should come right off. If it dosnt try soaking the snake a do it again.
