Thanx Steeve. I'm not interested in acquiring any, I just wanted to know if someone has successfully reproduced them in Canada to sell them.

Cheers.

What website am I supposed to be checking out??? There is NO link.

And the question stands: Who has bred Timors in Canada. I sure wouldn't want to buy one that's a mis-labelled wild caught.

Jeff wild couth monitors in the hands of an artist are called founder animals, so what dos it matter if WC or CB you’re an artist, really this shouldn’t bother you in any way.

Guy with your experience and knowledge should be the first applicant to wild fauna.
Just my opinion

I have no idea what you are trying to say about that. I don't CARE if people have WC monitors. Thye can do what they want. I care if people have WC monitors and try to sell them as CB. That's the problem.

And "founder" animals is cool like one or twice when the animal is first discovered or is on the brink of extinction. Ha ha, it would be quite silly to call the 600,000 baby Ball Pythons that get imported "founder animals", don't you think? Hmmmm....

But we aren’t talking about 600,000 imports, Timor’s have been imported few and far between, and none have been bred in Canada (that I know?)
My statement was no more then a compliment, I am sure you understood.

Check your PM, tell me what you think of those Highland condros!http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/959Morelia-viridis-blue-kmp-I-med.jpg

I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. Whenever the old WC vs CB debate comes up, someone always comes up with the silly argument 'yeah, but all of our CB animals came from WC stock at some stage, so it's okay to buy WC animals'.

I hear ya croc. I think anyone can make up some excuse to justify the wc trade. I hate it, so I just try to remove myself and my business as far away as possible.

It was CRAZy Steeve! I think there was an INSANE retic on there too?

That Chondro was REAL blue. Definitely.

Steeve B

Yes it was real, if I remember this morph hatches as purple and turn blue as adults with a black tong. Very nice!

OMG! Blue chondros? Where?!?

Anyway, I believe Brandon van Asten may have produced some. There was an ad for one several months back which I inquired about, and the seller told me it was produced by Brandon. It was a Blue Spot though, so not technically a Timor but I'm assuming you're inquiring about either Timorensis or Auffenbergi.
