A few of the '05 Jaguars from our banded female Coastal have shed, so I thought some photos would be in order. They are incredibly diverse! Most, like last year, are heavily banded. The patterns are very "busy." I'll post more pics as more of them shed out.

Now, take a look at them next to a few from the Tiger x Jaguar clutch. These photos were taken directly after their very first shed, so the comparison is accurate. Pay special attention to the reduced pattern (on both the head and body), impeccably clean background color, and mega stripe down the dorsal.

And lets not forget about these little beauties! ...the Irian Jaya-Jaguars. These guys are really orange & yellow! And the patterns consist of large, yet well spaced, blotches in the traditional Jaguar arrangement.

I just love comparison photos! They really bring everything into perspective.
Enjoy!!!!!
