OOOOOOk ive got me hands on my lil baby mitch. he's an albino corn snake and i'd say he's 4/5 months old and i wanna know how old they should be before they are sexed. cus it sounds pretty nasty! Then after that how old do they have to be to breed. He is a little beast i has at least 3 pinkies a week moving to 2 fuzzies soon. He's really tame and happy to see me and hes a prime shedder. He is nearly 1.5 as big as the hatchlings in the shop that were from the same clutch as him so hes fully healthy and stuff! PLEASE HELP :)

Baby corns can be sexed with fair reliability by popping (everting the hemipenes) when small, but your guy is likely too big for that now. Probing can be done at any age, but must be done by someone experienced - especially when on a corn younger than a year of age. It is possible to damage the animal by probing or popping so not without risk and should only be done by someone experienced.

Most corns are large enough to be bred by 3 years of age, and males may breed when they are 2 years old. Females should be 300 grams and at least 3 feet long before being considered large enough.
