I have a year old corn and right now i have him in a 40 gallon long tank, im worried because he seems to stay in the same damn spot for days, also he hasnt taken a dump for almost 2 weeks, he seems very inactive unlike before when i had him in my 32 gallon chameleon screen cage, he would climb to the very top of the branches i had in his tank and almost every night he would come out of his hide and just slither around curiously. i have checked out temps from both sides of the enclosure and they seem fine, is this behavior normal?

Could he be coming into a shed cycle? Do you still have the network of branches and familiar things in the new tank?
The inactivity may also just indicate that he has found a very comfortable secure location and he is not yet hungry and cruising for food. Our corns mostly cruise when they are uncomfortable or hungry - the screen cage may have been less secure for him.
In terms of defecation - how long ago and how large was his last meal? Our corns typically have a dump 3-5 days after their meal, but if meals are small it may be longer and if bedding is deep it may be hard to find feces because they burrow under the bedding, so you may not have seen it in the larger tank,

well he shed exaclty two weeks ago, it was a perfect shed by the way. for now i only have a wooden beam across the whole tank and a branch pointing upwards. The last time he shitted was a week before his shed, i feed him once every 5 days.
For the substrate im using both repti bark and aspen, maybe the crap is under the aspen because he does tend to burrow inside the aspen, i'll look for it because i even saw little insects flying around the tank before i squashed them lol.
there are 2 spots in the enclosure he loves, and he NEVER moves away from them. one is the hide in the hot spot and the other is where the beam starts in the hot side also.
I wouldn't be too concerned about his lack of movement right now. Like vanderkm says, he most likely just found a couple of comfy spots. My corns never used to move too much either, unless they weren't happy with something like temps or hunger. Search around for the snake crap. Reptibark is good at hiding defecation from a small snake. Good luck!
Just curious, what is the temp on the hot end. I'm thinking meybe the rest of the tank it cooler than he likes.
