when comes the poo....

i got my corn at the toronto reptile expo.. ive fed him twice since then.. 2 pinkies each sitting ( moving up to fuzzies.. ) but my question is when comes the poo.. he hasnt pooed yet.. any help is apreaciated...

Hmmmmm how often have you fed him, if its 2 times over a week, you are good, give him another week, if none then I would start to get concerned..

well got him the 17th fed on the 19th and then again on the 23rd.. and hes do for another feeding today... but should i feed him or wait till he poos.. thanks for the reply

I don't know much about corn snakes, but my bci eats every 7 days, and only takes a crap every 3.5-4.5 weeks, sometimes longer.

I wouldn't get to concerned though. What are you keeping him/her on? If it's nothing that you need to worry about compaction with (sand, bark, etc) then I'm sure everything is fine.

Baby corns typically poo 3-4 days after a feeding. The poo is often quite small because the snake is small (and yours likley is if you are still feeding pinks) but you should be finding something within 4 days of a feeding especially if he is on paper towel.

I would still offer food (a fuzzy) if he is willing to eat - may be that even 2 pinks is not enough food to move thing through. Food item should be making a visible bulge in his mid-body (1.5 to 2 times the diameter when he is empty).

ya i just wanted to start on a coupple small food items first then move up.. next feeding is a fuzzy.. and if your talking small, like the size of a penny he may have pood.. but its mostly white so.. i took it out anyways.. thanks alot..
