Hey!
I waited one loooong week to let my corn get used to the new home. So I handled him a bit. He's much less nervous than last week. But you can feel in his movements that he's still very cautious...
I'm gonna feed him in about an hour, he hasn't eaten in 3-4 weeks so I hope all goes well :D:D.
When I handled him he didn't make the crackling noise I was talking about last week. My computer is in my bedroom with my snake and geckos and sometimes he "coughs"... I'm getting a little worried about that :(. There is no mucus (sp?) coming out and he does it maybe every 15-20 minutes (never the same time interval)... He is on aspen bedding, I have seen him drink a few times and occasionally wondering around the tank.
Here are two pics of him I took yesterday :)

Thanks hunter! I got him from Simon at the febuary pcpc show. He was brought to montreal by Marc Bouchard. If Simon can remember you could have the exact date of his last meal :p. I left him with the mouse (f/t mouse) but with no result... He didn't seem remotly interested... I'll try again next week. It's probably due to the fact that he has been stressed a lot the past few weeks and now I have handled him for the first time in 1 week and he's stressed a bit. He should be fine next week :).

P.S. Yup, i'm a guy :p
Hum..
I properly missed a thread here...
but I hear that you're hearing cracking noise from this guy.
Cause I am pretty sure that he doesn't have any RI when he left my place. When you got it, did you put him in that tank you have right away?
He hasn't eaten yet, which is still fine. Like you said before, he might be a bit stressed out. What prey item are you feeding him? I don't have this feeding card anymore....I have absolutley no idea why I didn't give you his feeding card....stupid me.....I usually do that....but I guess that I was in such a rush that I forgot (I was driving out to Toronto on Friday night and on mid-way I had to turn back cause I forgot that guy.....then took him out and bagged him and took off.....)
Keep me updated on how he is doing. He seems pretty happy in a tank set up that you have. He might not be eating due to the stress level. Remember at my place he is basically 24/7 in total darkness. The only time he sees the outside is when I feed him, cleaning, and changing water. Other than that he sees no one else. Right now he is in a tank which is in total exposure....so that might be the reason why he is not eating.
Let me know how the 'clicking' sound thing goes~
You might want to crank up the heat a bit, might be a minor RI from the travel and stress that he is getting.
i left a f/t mouse with my guy yesterday (ive only fed him freshly killed mice previously) and i left it there for an hour before i went out, he still didnt eat it, i decided to leave it there anyway, i was gone for 3 hours and when i got back he had it in him. maybe unfortunatley you could try him on a small live mouse? i know this isnt probably desirable since it is nice being able to feed them f/t. but hey if he takes i t your problem is over! but as you said maybe he is still adjusting to the non 24/7 darkness life. good luck with everything. i m sure he'll be fine.

Hunter, Simon feeds f/t so I won't let him have a live...
Simon, I got an appointment with a vet thursday so even if I paid $50 and she tells me it's a minor RI i'll know for sure. It's my first snake and I want to keep him for atleast 20 years :D. I'll up the temps right now and keep you updated on his situation :).
Probably all due to stress cause he does a lot of nose rubbing on the glass...
Is he a proven breeder?
Thanks!

P.S. Simon, reserve an ice ghost female for me! I don't care about the price, I want one :D:D
Edit: The temp on the hot side is around 29°C or 84°F.
Edit#2: His situation seems to have improved since last week.
