what will be the best way to heat my cage at night it is wood and it's size is 5'x2'x2' and i have 2 250 watt heat lights on a thermastat and when they shut down i have 3 40 watt lights that come on now im trying to get rid of the 250watt heat lights and need some idea's on how to heat the cage thank you chad

Place on the bottom. And you should try to cover about 1/3 of the floor space. I'd cover the entire width and about 2' of the length of your enclosure size.

ultratherm heat mats are the mutts nuts, they're made in scotland but i think beanfarms has them available. i used them all the time back in the mother land and had great sucess with them. cheers,

Ceramic Heat emmitters do a little better job for night time ambient air temp. Heat tape provides a great warm spot, but does really nothing for ambient air temp.
