Well, Ive been waiting all this time..for my girl (female brazilian rainbow boa) to lay 3 slugs in her hide..and she still appears to be ..large..im almost positive she has more in her but nothing has happened for awhile now...and I mean awhile.....im trying a few things if nothing..she goes to the vet tommorrow...ill let you all know anything as soon as I do.

Sorry to hear about the slugs, but you can always hope there is something left in her.

Hold on, they some times drop the slugs to make room for the live ones!!

Jeff, I pm'd you back, sorry if I seemed a little impatient....but I was lol....be happy I didnt call you at 3am :D

I am hoping for the best...ill sit back and let them come to me, as soon as anything comes out..ill snap a pic.... Funny...the night she layed the slugs..she also pooped..havent seen poop in her cage for oh....4 months..hehe

Hmmm, is that normal.....now theres more poop..she hasnt eaten since before october..is this normal? or do they store it for the developing embryo's?

Absorbed follicles before ovulation can produce waste. They can always produce waste. The body produces waste materials from metabolism every day. Whether or not the expel that waste everyday is another story.

True enough, she just shed a about 3-4 weeks ago, I was expecting her to deficate around that time, but instead I got it now, boids are pretty notorious for holding that stuff in for awhile.

Today is the fourth day past the slugs, she doesnt appear to be much larger than she was the second day...nor does she seem interested at all. But...ill sit and wait it out.
