Snakes- Colds/Flu

I know some mamals can catch colds and flu from humans but do snakes catch them from us too?

can you name any animals that can catch a cold from humans, i seriously didnt think there were any.

Viruses are species specific. There are no mammals that can get human cold or flu viruses, and certainly no reptiles.

Ok maybe I'm wrong but I noticed my dog and ferett had a bug in the past, around the same time I did and was told they could catch stuff from their owners.

well...MOST viruses are species specific. Things like the parvo virus can spread from mice to rats etc. Also things like avian flu is thought now to be zoonotic (ie animals to humans). However, as mentioned above, cold and general flu symptoms are not transferable to your snakes.
