okeetee ate first big meal

My okeetee corn ate his first adult mouse last night! I put it in his enclosure and at first he sniffed it and then went into his hide---I left it and then came back later--the mousie was gone. :)

I'll get a picture of him up soon---he's a beauty.

I got to see my snakes eat for the first time the other day. Something I'll remember for a long time. Not a big deal for many people to see a snake eat, I know, but it was the first time for me and I just thought it was so WOW. :) :D

I'm getting my first snake friday!! I'll be home sunday night and i'll try to feed him tuesday :D I can't wait to see him eat!!!

I'm still fascinated to watch the snakies eat. And corns hardly ever refuse a meal--at least mine haven't. They are fun to watch! :)

Yeah... The first time my tiny sunglow ate an adult mouse, I actually saw the mouse going down her throat... I thought she was going to have trouble, but true to form, she gobbled it up without poise. 8-P
