feeding problem

well I have been having a problem with two of my corns same age and size(from the same clutch ghost motley X striped snow) and they are just not eating frozen prey. Could it be that they don't like cold dethawed food? I took one of the fuzzies and wiggled it in front of the males hide and it launched at it and constricted it and then did not eat it. The other one simply just smells it and pays more attention to my hand movement. Both have shed perfectly and appear to be in good condition. The only thing now is probably to give them freshly killed mice. what you think? Given they have been moved to a new enclosure. They are 45 cm and their tanks 60X45X30 cm.LXBXH

If it is actually cold they won't eat it. After it's thawed drop it in hot water for about 5 min. I was feeding today and my male struck and latched on to the fuzzy before I even set hiim in the tank I feed them in. He started trying to swallow the fuzzy with his tail still wrapped around my fingers.

Try placing each corn in it's own very small container along with the prey and leaving them in there over night. Sometimes it takes less time for them to take it down. I found with one of my corns that after placing it in the container, it would take down the prey after I left it alone and checked back on it after 5 mins. Some corns don't like you watching them eat.

I agree, corns ussually eat quite well, I agree with both Jon, and Danny, may solve the problem...or may not.

Other degree's could be the prey item your offering, cage temps, or parasites...but, I wouldnt jump on it until your certain that all the husbandry requirments are correct.
