Na thats not true at all, how much does the female weigh? I read an interesting article on breeding (sorry I don't recall where) that mentioned that a 1500g female (should on average) produce 4 eggs, and I think it said 1 eggs for every 300g (???) after that.

Of course I think husbandry would have something to do with this also, but it sounds like it would make sense. This is just a theory based on the person who wrote the articles own experience so I wouldn't take it as gospel.

But if you are extremely lucky you could get 3-4 out of 4 Albinos, or if your lucky like me you may not get any. What I would do though, is make sure you hold back any normal looking females and hope they prove out to be Het as well. Just to increase your odds next time around.

Fasle statement. You have a 25% chance of getting an albino from each egg from the 1st breeding, to the 100th breeding.

Ok thanks Greenman.

But if i breed a hetro female with a hetro male. What is the chance
that i breed albino's??Greenman i don't have hetro's. Mabey next year .So i whant to be sure that if i by hetro's that i breed albino's the first time.

Thanks Ray,

Ray,

If you breed het X het you have a 25% chance of producing albinos (per egg). But then again there are no guarantees. See the 'Killer Bee' post.

Here is a table I made up to figure your cumulative odds of producing at least one albino from het X het for given clutch sizes (assuming you hatch all the eggs).

http://snakemorphs.home.comcast.net/odds.htm#table

Basically there are no guarantees but the more eggs you hatch the better your chances are of getting an albino.
