I've been doing a lot of reading up about corn snakes. I am getting my first one soon. Couple of weeks. My fiancee has kept snakes in the past, so I've been asking him a lot of questions. I've never handled a snake before, so I'm a liddle nervous, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. I had a lot of questions about them, but I read most of the threads in this forum, so, lol thanks everyone, you've answerd most of my questions so far!

The snake I'm getting is a Miami phase, male. Two years old, 3 feet long. Comming with it's own viv, wich we're planning on beautifing up a bit. We're going to get a bigger viv for him soon too.

I've always been fascinated with snakes, but untill now, I've never known anyone who has had one. I wanted to get one, but didn't because I felt it unfair to the snake that I knew so little about them, but with my fiancee's help, I feel better. :D

Best of luck!

You choose the right kind of snake to start with!

Corn snakes are one of the best snakes to keep. So many morphs and so many differen variations.

I just love them to death.

Best of luck with your new pet!

My fiancee suggested a corn snake to me when I asked him what a good beginner snake would be. I saw pictures of them, and fell in love. I prefer the 'natural' looking ones to the 'morph' ones for the most part, but they are all beautifull. And I can't wait to take pictures! :D
