All I can say is WOW, I have never seen anything like that before. What does the price tag on one of those run?

Absolutely, positively not for sale.

(And I don't play the "well if they WERE for sale, how much would they be?" game.)

No...these were sort of an early Valentine's present to ourselves. ;)

We'll be producing them in the not-too-distant future if all goes well!

Very cool, good luck with that.

And what are they exactly? A patternless retic?

Ha ha, Don't worry I am sure they are beyond my price range. I would like to know what the morph is being called, and where they came from. Again they are truly stunning animals.

We haven't really named it yet - they seem similar to an Ivory ball python, but I don't know that the name will stick. Time will tell.

They came from 2 bigger retics. ;)

No, we have not produced a Super Golden yet. In case you're unaware retic females typically need to be 3 years old to breed, and since they only hatched last summer, it's going to be awhile before we have a female mature enough to breed back.

No...we're just not under any obligation to say more about this project than we want to at the moment. Certainly that's fair. It has nothing to do with competition...we're just savoring these animals for the moment...this project is our new baby, so to speak.

We've already posted more about them on our own forums & will continue to do so as the project progresses. I've seen you signed in over there, so I guess you're up to date? :p

Yeah I have, I guess I just dont like to be teased. :p

And I thought there was another golden child but I guess I was mistaken . In some of the pictures it looks like one is gold the other is almost black, but I guess it was the same snake in different lighting.

LOL...come on! Teasing is part of the fun. If you knew the stress we went through to acquire these animals, you'd understand. ;)

Golden Child offspring start off dark & lighten up as they mature, and also do look darker or lighter under different lighting. Outside they're purple & green - TONS of iridesence!

Hey Kara, has Anthrax been proven out? I can't help thinking he's kind of the key to a solid purple retic.:D
