Hello every 1 , i finally got it through my thick skull to use a rubbermaid for my bp. Question:
Do i need more than an under tank heat pad and a thermostat for it?
Cause i put him his new home and first of all it fogs up a lot , so i made nore air holes. the humidity was a t 78 its now at 70.

He seems some what unhappy may be. Trys to go to the top of the rub., still not eatting. maybe he is not comfortable in the rub?

How long as he been in the rubbermaid?? What are the temps?? What are you using for substrate?? Is there a hide?? Is the tub clear, or coloured?? There's many factors here, some more detail would assist people in giving advice.

The rub is clear 23 13 15 " has1 hide, 94-96 in the bottom at the hot side 79 82 on the cool side. humidity of 70-75%
also i use paper as bedding

may be its too small for him he is about 3.5 feet

I don't know if it's too small for him. Alot of breeders have great success with the large females in tubs that are only 33" long. You didn't answer how long he has been in the tub?? Perhaps he just needs some time to acclimate, in a low traffic, quiet area of the house. Try not too peek in on him all the time either just let him be for 2-3 weeks. Just an idea. Also bring the humidity down to around 60%. Fogging is a definate sign that it is far too humid in there. Allow his water dish to be the main source of humidty, and only mist when in shed. Anyways, I'd suggest just searching through the forum. There has literally been hundreds of threads regarding rubbermaid setups. All answers that you seek now and will most likely seek in the future, have been answered countless times before. Good Luck.

as BornboreD said, give him time to acclimate (I had a 4-5 ft bp in a 36 in sterilite).

Also give him another hide on the cool side, so he doesn't have to chose between security and heat/coolness.

If he is going to the top alot, make sure he can't push the lid up even the slightest, or you might come back to an empty rubbermaid ;)

The rubbermaid is a good size for him. I keep my 3000g females in 23x16x6 and they are healthy most importantly and they eat. I would however, get more air holes in there so that the ambient humidity is between 50-60%. As for "furniture" I use unprinted newspaper stock as substrate, and a water dish on the cool side of the setup. That's it. I would give him at least a week in there alone; no handling, no playing, no peeking, no nothing. Just let him get acclimated. Good luck.

he does not want to use the hide on the cool side, do u think there is a particular reason?

you might not see them go back and forth from their hide. everytime im feeding my ball python, im playing a guessing game with them. sometimes i find them in the hot spot hide and sometimes in the coolside.

Rubbermaids are far better than aquariums, and rubbermaids are alot cheaper.
