Mites

I purchased some corkbark on the 19th soaked it and placed it in one of my crested tanks when it was dry. I noticed this week my crested hadn't been using the hides. I was just doing some cleaning and found the undersides of the wood to be infested with mites. I'm not sure what kind they are but they were found onlyon the bark and in the moist soil below.

I cleaned out the tank and placed the wood in boiling water. Can I reuse it or should I return it to the store?

Since you boiled it the mites and there eggs should die, but if you see more I would return it :)

i would go tell the store about it anyways to prevent others from having the same problems
