My bp usually just kinda hangs out in his hides but the last 2 days he has been all over the tank, flipping his hides over, pushing on the tank lid (trying to get out i'm guessing) and burrowing in his substrate. I've had him for almost 3 weeks. He shed and ate last week. His feeding time is today so I thought he was hungry but he didn't show any interest in food lastnight. Any ideas on his new behavior??

If its a male it is that time of the season, he may also be itchy, check for mites or anything.

ALSO youve only had him for 3 weeks so he may just be exploring, and chekin evrything out.

He is a male, I didn't think of it being that time of the season! I checked him over and didn't see any mites. I was kind of thinking that maybe he's getting used to his new home and checking everything out.

u should also check out for ticks. my bp is doing the same thing and by looking closely he has ticks. they are very hard to see because that just look like a regular scales so you really have to look really close.

From looking at your previous posts, your ball is a wee little thing.. It's definitely not the whole "mating season" thing, he's still a baby. He's just being a snake, let him do what he does. Good luck.

Sounds like he is just exploring his cage . Just take a look for any ticks to be sure .
