last night i was handling my leo, and while i was handlingh im, i dabbed my finger in a liquified banana/peach baby food mixture and put it near his mouth, he liked the thing completly clean. I've personaly never heard of feeding leos a fruit mixture, but i also havent really looked into it. Is this safe?, and should i give it to him once or twice a week? any information on feedin my leo this is great! thanks.!

Ive never heard of feeding leopard geckos anything to do with fruit...sometimes people will feed a gecko turkey or chicken just as a last resort.

Ive actually read somewhere that people have given their leopards yogurt, but dont quote me on that. Maybe someone here can make sure its safe before you go ahead, but I dont see why not :)

I believe DragonDrp was talking about feeding leos fruit mix, the odd time in the crested forum.

I do give pureed fruit, yogurt and a mix of the two to my breeding female leos. Most lick it willingly, some love it, but the odd one just tastes it once and never again. I'll have to dig out the info I had a few years ago that shows wild leos do eat fruit once in a while.

Yep, if you search the old posts you'll find some good conversations on this. They can eat fruit baby food(no sugar ones) and plain yogurt, which are good sources of vitamins and minerals. It has been noted that in wild, in times of drought and such, that they have been seen licking fallen fruits for the water content. It's a nice treat and they adore it. But like all treats, it should be given scarcely like wax worms:D

I'll try to find the links for those older posts.
