Recently added three new corns to the group here - courtesy of Dawn (user name Cas on ssnakess). Now that they have settled in - picture taking day was this weekend.

First is a new butter - a mature girl with quite a dark caramel color to her - quite different from our original female who is very pure yellow. Our best guess is that she is from Annette's (Wrapped up in Reptiles) line, like my other female. This girl will be paired up with a striped male corn this spring. Had to give her a new name as we have always wanted a butter corn named 'Peanut'.

Then a pair of 2003 hypos that Simon sent out west a couple years ago as hatchlings (bred by Joe Clark). Looking forward to adding these different bloodlines to my current ghosts as well as working them into the creamsicle project to produce cinnamons.

Thanks for looking,

edit - correction - should be 2002 hypos not 2003.

Thanks everyone - I still prefer the really yellow butters but this girl is a proven breeder so looking forward to what she will produce. She has kind of a weird pattern with a pale stripe splitting her saddles - I really like regular saddles and not the abberants so figure she might as well be part of a striped breeding program.

The hypos are suprising to me with the darkness of their black borders but they certainly have clear coloration without any dark wash and muted belly checkers. They have some growing to do still til they are breeding size - will need another year, but they sure are pretty - especially the male. They are het ghost and possible het amel so will be interesting to put them with some coral snows.
