I'm curious about Boa growth rates. i know for every kind it must be different . I have a central american common. any idea about the growth rate and maximum length? and also i have a friend with a young columbian red tail i believe his is a male and I'm not sure about the sex of mine. any info would be great so i (we) know what size cage to build in preparation. thanks all. bye

The simple answer is that they all grow at their own rate. But to generalize the central american will grow slower and most likely not get as big as the columbian. As far as cage size you have a couple of choices. 4X2 or 6X2. It is up to you. For a female the larger is better.
Good Luck
