i was wondering what an average price for a ball python is. I don't want an outrageusly priced animal for myself. i don't plan on breeding and am not concerned about morphs to much. I just look around and there is some for $150 and others that look the same and are the same for $500. all i want is an average ball python!
thanks aggieo>

The ones that "look the same" for $500 are hets. That means they carry a "morph" gene. The ones that are around $100 are just what you're looking for. Buy a Captive Born baby from a breeder and you should be just fine. There are some good ones not too far from where you live. :)

I have males available for $80 each, and most breeders sell normal females for $150-200 each. Most normal babies are under $150.
I bought my normal female ball at a reptile show for $50. She was 6 months old when I bought her.

If you are near Jeff in B.C.....pick up one of his males.
I purchased about 26 babies over the last few months, and the 3 normals I got from him are without a doubt the best feeders.
If you want to feed frozen/thawed......you can't go wrong with JF.
