I am getting a baby amazon today. He/She is 2 weeks old, am i supposed to wait till the first shed to feed him/her? or can i offer food in 2-3 days? Thanks in advance. I'll post pics when i get him or her.
Carlton
Two weeks old is really early to be selling a baby ATB or any snake for that matter.
Has it even had a meal yet?
Let it settle for a couple days at least but more would be better.

I have 7 neonate amazons that I just produced two weeks ago and I'm having a hell of a time to get them to eat. You shouldn't buy a snake that is not established yet. Nor should someone be selling non-feeding snakes.

Trevor is right, especially if it's your first ATB... They're not always as easy as we would want them to be, hehe, just ask him!
Carlton, hows the amazon settling in?

It's doing good, thanks. Had it's first meal today. It was a frozen pinky that I had to hold up to a light bulb...:)

Nice! Only one of mine is eating. Just by leaving a f/t pinky in over night.
Cheers,
Trevor
Carlton, good to hear she ate for you!
Trevor, just a few more to get started eh!!!
