Ok guys, today I bought a great plains rat snake at a show. I was wondering if you could give any tips as to how to care for this snake, temps and such. Up till now I've only had pythons and boas so I'll need to learn about the colubrids. Any info would be great, if you have care sheets or anything you would like to email to me, I can be reached at "cidah@bellsouth.net"

Thanks Matt

I'm sure there are better ones out there, but this is what I have book-marked for now.....

Good luck and post some pics!

Recomended reading is

The Corn Snake Manual
By: Bill Love and Kathy Love

It is considered teh Corn Snake bible. But honestly you can find all the information you need online

Also Here is a forum that is solely for Corn Snakes

Hope this helps

Ohhh BTW Corn Snakes and Rat Snakes are basically the same. So husbandry and handling would also be the same
