I recieved 3 cresteds today from two seperate breeders. Two were from Anthony Caponetto (outstanding just outstanding), and the other from Clark Tucker.I actually recieved the wrong one from Clark, but he stated hed "make it right" so well see.Anyways my question is this the 2 i recieved from Anthony are about the same size as the one i currently own, but the one i got from Clark is way smaller. Now all 3 of the bigger ones are not full grown i think they are a couple months old, but the little one is just a hatchling im guessing.I didnt even realize they started that small! So my question is should i keep them in the same enclosure or should i worry about the other three eating the little one?:grab:

definitely keep the smaller one seperate if there is as big of a size difference as you describe.
also you should probably keep the 2 new ones from ac quarantined from the one you already have.
I know anthony has a great reputation, but there is always a chance the one you have or the ones you just got are carrying a parasite, and you dont want to infect your entire group.
its pretty standard procedure, and I am by no means implying that any of your geckos have anything (I dont want to step on any toes) but safe is better than sorry.

crested geckos do better In their own cage anyway. Eventually you are going to have to seperate them so why not right now? You will find they will grow much more quickly when they dont have to compete for food.

really?I thought you could keep 3 or 4 together as long as they were either babies or 1 male and females....

You can keep babies together but like adam said when you get new geckos they should be quarantined for minimum 1 month. And yes you can keep several females together but you have 4 juvi's so you dont know what you have. You could have 3 males and 1 female who knows? Its just safer and better for the geckos to keep them seperate. In 6 months It turns out you have 2 0r 3 females by all means put them together but for now your best bet would be to house them individually/

so what would you suggest i put the cresteds in? If they are to be housed seperate should i go get some rubbermaids?

probably 21 gallon or 80 litres
a pet pal or critter keeper will work good for the baby. or a small rubbermaid 20 qt. i keep my adults in 70 qt. rubbermaids. newspaper or paper towels work good in those.
thanks
